Zone 10 encompasses the entire hunter/jumper discipline in the states of California and Nevada. USA Equestrian and its official hunter/jumper organization, the National Hunter/Jumper Council (NHJC) divided the United States into twelve zones. California and Nevada comprise Zone 10.
With over 3200 USA Equestrian hunter/jumper members, Zone 10 is currently ranked as the second largest zone in the country. Zone 10 has over 105 USA Equestrian sanctioned horse shows during the year, over 20 shows are "AA" hunter rated, and more than 30 grand prix classes in Zone 10 count toward the USET Computer List.
Our Zone has hosted an Olympic games (1984), plus two FEI World Cup Finals during the 20th century. It is only fitting that we are starting the millennium with the 2000 Las Vegas World Cup Finals.
